This motorcycle only has 5,407 original miles on it, though it may increase a little. And those miles have been very gentle, as you can distinguish the images. This motorbike is in extremely, great condition. I believe you would be difficult pushed to discover another one in this condition. I have actually owned a number of XS's throughout the years, but this is by far the nicest. It is a fantastic riding bike, moves effectively, begins easily, idles completely. Original exhaust is in excellent condition. No rust holes, patches, and so on. The original paint is lovely with just a couple of small scratches. The chrome is in fantastic condition considered that the bike is 37 years old. In general, this motorbike is an extremely good example of the most desirable of years. The tachometer cover has a little ding as does the left muffler. Extremely small. The wheels might stand a good cleaning. These are the original wheels. The left side cover has actually been touched up in a few areas by the initial owner. It's not obvious unless you open the seat. I attempted to take images of it, but it does not appear extremely good. The tachometer works, but is slow to respond. Perhaps the grease is getting stiff and old. These are not big problems, however if I were going to purchase this bike, I would wish to know about them.
